2013 Prodigy Play of the Week: Week 4 Nominees

Prodigy Play of the WeekWeek 4 of the high school season has come and gone but it’s time now to vote for the best play. There are some excellent plays this week including some top right rips, falling while spinning, textbook transition plays, dodges and last but not least, the Davis Double Overtime goal! Vote now!
No. 1 – David Lewis – Waterford Ravens
Lewis gets the ball, turns and fires near post for the rocket shot goal.
No. 2 – Hunter Wilson – Northridge Knights
Wilson gets the ball off a clear and takes it to the cage. About 10 yards out, Wilson decides to do some sort of spin move and while the Waterford defender is knocking him over, Wilson shoots and scores.
No. 3 – Sean Sloan – Judge Memorial Bulldogs
Sloan finds himself on the right side of the cage and does a rocker dodge, loosing his man for the one-on-one goal.
No. 4 – Juan Diego Transition – Juan Diego Soaring Eagle
The Juan Diego transition game shows its skill once again in the top plays with Danny Maxwell bringing the ball down, finding Tommy Maddox on the wing who finds Luke Graney cutting in the middle of the field who feeds to brother Matt Graney for the great fast break goal.
No. 5 – Walker Murphy – Olympus Titans
Murphy starts behind the cage and works up the right side, gets double team but does a perfect split dodge, burning both defenders and is able to slot it home for the goal.
No. 6 – Zachary Jarvis – Davis Darts
In Double Overtime, the Darts midfielder throws the ball down field which manages to go past several players and finds Jarvis on the crease who scoops and dumps it in for the game-winning goal.
No. 7 – Riverton Steal & Fast Break – Riverton Silverwolves
Kaylee Poulsen steals the ball on a clear and takes it the other way then finds Avree Frost who slots it home for the goal.
No. 8 – Christian Pompoco – Park City Miners
Pompoco starts his off ball movement at GLE, wrapping up, gets the ball in the middle of the field and keeps circling until he finds a wide open spot and shoots and scores.
