2013 Prodigy Play of the Week: Week 7 Nominees

Prodigy Play of the WeekWeek 7 of the Prodigy Play of the Week contest is here. In this edition you’ll see great crease play, great off ball movement and the ever elusive behind-the-back goal. Don’t forget to vote everyday. The winner will be announced on Thursday.
No. 1 – Justin Desautels – Waterford
Desautels gets the ball from the wing while cutting and shoots low and away for the goal.
No. 2 – Eric Larsen – Judge
Larsen gets a pass behind the goal while sneaking the crease and finishes with a high rip for the goal.
No. 3 – Zoe Aldous – Skyline
Aldous cuts towards the goal, beats her defender, gets a nice pass from Annie Glenn and quick-sticks it in the back of the net while tip-toeing the crease.
No. 4 – Luke Graney – Juan Diego
Graney dodges from the wing through 3 defenders for the goal.
No. 5 – Whitney Sieverts – Jordan
Sieverts has the ball at GLE, split dodges past two defenders and scores the game-tying goal.
No. 6- Tanner Hallows – Davis
Hallows has the ball behind the goal, fakes a pass to the top of the box that fakes the defense then drives to the crease for the goal.
No. 7 – Markie Wright – Juan Diego
Wright gives the defense issues while trying to clear, then steals the ball and gets the goal.
No. 8 – Bubba Fairman – Brighton
Fairman gets the ball in front of the goal and scores on a behind-the-back shot.

  1. My vote is for LP hidden ball play vs Alta. A real turning point in the game in terms of momentum also a great sell by jake stout and a good timing by aaron fjeldsted
