2014 DownEast Player of the Week: Week 4 – Ryan Fogarty (Brighton), Ian Kadish (Skyline) & Alexis Womble (Juan Diego)

The Week 4 winners of the DownEast Player of the Week goes to two boys this week, Ryan Fogarty (Brighton) and Ian Kadish (Skyline). On the girls side, Alexis Womble from Juan Diego took home the honors. Remember, the only way to win the DownEast Player of the Week award is to be nominated. Ryan Fogarty – Brighton
Midfielder
Fogarty, who is a captain for the Bengals, had a stellar week with 3 goals and an assist against then No. 1 Corner Canyon in a top seeded battle in the UHSLL. One of his goals came with 18 seconds remaining and was the game-winning goal in a tight game. Fogarty also holds a 4.0 GPA off the field.
Ian Kadish – Skyline
Midfielder
The Eagles are enjoying their time in D-I and played a tough Davis squad on Monday. Kadish had 3 goals and an assist and went 10 for 11 from the face-off X. Two days later, Kadish had 6 goals in a win at Herriman and won 26 of 31 face-offs.
Alexis Womble – Juan Diego
Goalie
Womble had two amazing games last week. On Monday, Womble faced 10 shots and saved 7 (70%) against a potent American Fork offense. She then followed that performance with a 83.3 save percentage against Judge on Wednesday.
