No. 1 Copper Hills Grizzlies v. No. 4 Highland Rams
The last time these two squads met was in 2014 with Copper Hills dominating the game, taking home a 16-2 win. The Rams are a different team this year though so this game should be closer. The Grizzlies are 14-4 on the season and remember feeling of making it to the semifinals last year, but they also remember the sting of losing. Copper Hills features a balanced team with great players all-around which means anyone can score at any given time. The Rams are 13-4 in one of their best seasons in the last decade. Jacob Romney is currently second in the state for assists with 47.

No. 6 Logan Grizzlies v. No. 10 Fremont Silverwolves
Northern Utah will be represented well as Logan and Fremont square off in what should be an exciting semifinal match-up. Logan beat the Silverwolves in the regular season, 16-11. The Grizzlies are 12-3 while the Silverwolves enter the game with an 11-8 record. Hunter Horsely, Brandon Dodd and Rio Thomas dominate the stat sheet for Logan so the Silverwolves will need to focus their defensive schemes to stop those three. Fremont also knows how to score buckets of goals with Brock Carter leading the way. Carter is currently tied for 67 goals which is the top of the state scoring list. Jerrin Cutler and Griffin Halliday are also potent on the offensive end. The Silverwolves will need to win at least 50% of the face-offs to have a chance in this game. Horsely currently leads the state with the best face-off win percentage.
Logan beat Lehi (17-14) and upset Herriman (15-6) while Fremont upset Alta (13-12) and No. 2 Syracuse (15-5) to earn their spot in the semifinals.
