Ty Guzzo – Timpview Thunderbirds
Ty GuzzoGuzzo had 8 goals against Timpanogos and 4 goals against West Jordan. He also had the most votes we’ve ever received for a Player of the Week.
From the nominators: Ty is a great kid with a big heart and a good work ethic. He helped my husband and I move houses and we watched him work hard all day without complaining. I’m sure he is the same way on the field and Timpview is lucky to have him!!
Ty has AMAZING talent and dedication to this sport. He plays with his full heart and gives it his all. He has a love for Lacrosse and it shows  though his performance!
Ty has contributed 12 goals this season as well as being the team captain and a great example to his teammates! He works hard and I see him around the house all day every day working on his tosses and catches. His stick never leaves his hand and he is so dedicated and in love with the sport!
Ty has been instrumental in the Timpview turn around, leading a team that is already having it’s best season since 2007. His great attitude and work ethic make him a no-brainer for the Player of the Week award.
Ty has played so tough. 12 goals and a bunch of assists this week. On a team that is not used to many awards or wins as of late, Ty has been instrumental in helping turn this team around with big moments in clutch situations Vs Timpanogos and desert Hills. More importantly he is a great kid Off the field.
Bergan McArdle – Brighton Bengals
From the nominators: Bergan is the perfect example that it takes more than just goals to win. She won 12 of 16 draws which was huge in holding Corner Canyon to 2 goals. She also added one goal, three assists, three ground balls and a caused turnover. She is an unsung hero and an integral part to our early success.
