Ian SimeIan Sime – Park City
From the nominators: Ian played every minute in both Park City wins this week. 11-4 win over Bingham (7 saves on 11 shots and 4 gb’s) and in the battle for #1, 7-6 win over Corner Canyon (11 saves on 17 shots and 3 gb’s) including some great saves in the closing minutes of the game to preserve the win. Ian has been a rock all season long and has started and won all 10 games for Park City this year as he became the starter after last season’s starting goalie Sheridan Buchholz was lost for the season due to a concussion. On the season Ian is 10-0 with a 4.0 goals against and a 57% save percentage. I dont know of another player that has worked as hard as Ian this year. When he is not on the practice field getting peppered with shots you can usually find him doing ladders and sprints or pushing a sled at the Basin Rec.
Olivia Morgan – West Jordan
From the nominators: I am nominating Olivia for our game against Timpanogos this week. She made 7 goals with a shooting percentage of 100%. Every shot that she took went in. She also added 1 assist.
