2015 Storm Lacrosse Player of the Week: Week 7 – Jace Miller (American Fork) and Skye Rust (Lone Peak)

Jace Miller – American Fork
From the nominators: Jace had 8 goals and 2 assists to lead American Fork to a 12-8 win over rival Lehi. The Cavemen were down 4-0 early before Jace almost single-handedly willed them to victory. Jace is a leader on both ends of the field with the ability to lock down opposing players at the defensive end. He also led his Cavemen to a victory this week over previously unbeaten Timpview. Jace has been a solid all-around player all season and is worthy of the award and recognition.
Skye Rust – Lone Peak
6 goals, 4 assists against Bingham. Won 20 of 31 draws, controlling 14.
From the nominators: She had an incredible game against Bingham and scored a last second shot in first overtime to make Lone Peak to be able to go to double overtime. In sudden death double OT, she scored the winning goal. She’s an amazing player.
