2015 Storm Lacrosse Player of the Week: Week 9 – Connor Boss (Lehi) & Savannah Ernst (American Fork)

storm-player-of-the-weekThe Week 8 winner of the Storm Lacrosse Player of the Week goes to Connor Boss (Lehi) and Savannah Ernst (American Fork). Thanks to all of those who nominated players for consideration this year and congrats to all the winners!
Connor Boss – Lehi

In four games last week, Boss had 11 goals, 6 assists and won 72 of 90 face-offs (80%).
Savannah Anesa Ernst – American Fork
From the nominators: Savannah Anesa Ernst, a freshman and attack for the American Fork Lady Cavemen, recorded 6 points in a hard-fought victory against the Riverton Silverwolves on Tuesday, for a final score of 11-10.   After a close first half, Anesa stepped in for AF to take the draw when their starting center was injured.  Not only did she play her part in winning 6 draw controls, she played tough defense against the Silverwolves’ aggressive offense, picking up the ground ball and clearing it to her teammate, who ultimately scored the winning goal in the last 40 seconds of the game.  Her diligence and hustle played an essential role in AF winning their 10th game in a row.  Anesa is a talented player and outstanding example of leadership and skill.
