The Stories That Matter Most To The Utah Lacrosse Community

22 Utahns Heading to High Rollers This Weekend

This weekend, several players from Utah will travel to Coronado, California to participate in the Adrenaline High Rollers series. The event is held annually and is one of the top recruiting events in the West.
According to the Adrenaline Lacrosse website:

Adrenaline High Rollers features the best players from Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Nevada, Northern & Southern California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Sasketchewan and Calgary, all of whom converge at one location to compete in front of 60+ recruiters from top NCAA & MCLA programs. Contrary to other recruitment tournaments, all players will get the appropriate exposure. Also unique from other recruiting events, Adrenaline focuses on player exposure rather than excessive cost. Players’ teams are coached by top high school coaches from across the West as well as LXM Pro players. NCAA coaches and LXM Pros also hold valuable expert level collegiate clinics that push and test the skills of the best players in the West. As with all Adrenaline Primetime Recruiting Events, this is considered a can’t miss for any aspiring collegiate lacrosse player in the West.

A few of the schools that will be represented include North Carolina, Maryland, Notre Dame, Loyola, Denver and many other NCAA & MCLA schools, including Westminster.
“We look forward to our second year attending High Rollers,” said Brad Lavoie, Westminster Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. “Rory and the Adrenaline Team do a great job with every event they host and with the growth of the game in the West and the large amount of talent looking for an opportunity at the next level, events like these provide an excellent opportunity for Westminster College and we have never been more excited about the value proposition of our program. This year we head in to the final stretch of the current recruiting season with a few key openings left to fill in the 2013 class and now that the early signing period is upon us it is imperative that we make that final push going into the holidays. Regardless, the reality for a growing program like ours is that we will be constantly looking for smart players who seek a very strong liberal arts education along with varsity lacrosse to keep our program on track.”
