Holland Repeats as RMAC Offensive Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Westminster senior Josh Holland was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced today. This is his second straight weekly honor and third of the season.

In the three games included in the week, Holland led the Griffins to a 2-1 record and helped them clinch at least a share of the RMAC regular season championship. The 6-foot-1 midfielder from Riverton, Utah, recorded 13 points with eight goals and five assists during the games. He had a pair of hat tricks and had three assists against CSU-Pueblo.
Holland currently ranks second in the RMAC by scoring 3.20 goals per game and he is third in the conference at 1.20 assists per game. He leads the league in shots at 9.70 per contest and is second by averaging 4.40 points per game.
Westminster completed its regular season with an 8-2 overall record and they went 7-1 in RMAC play. They will host the inaugural RMAC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament with a Rockhurst win over Colorado Mesa on Saturday. The Griffins will also host if CMU wins by 4 goals or less.
