Mark your calendar for the Second Annual Boys High School All-State Lacrosse Game. The game will feature the best High School players in the state. The game is being presented by UHSLL with all gate proceeds benefiting the 2016 U15 Boys National Team. This is the last time many of our participants will wear their High School jersey. This event was a huge success last year for both players and fans and should not be missed.
Here’s how it works: Two Coaches will draft players from the following pool of players: Class A 1st team (21 players), Class A 2nd team (15), Class B 1st team (15), Class C Positional MVP’s (6) and the 2 teams will battle it out in the last Boys High School game of the 2016 season. The game will be 4 15-minute running quarters and officiated by referees from the ULOA who have graciously donated their time for this game.
All players participating in the All State game will be contacted by email Monday/Tuesday and are asked to reply back ASAP if they can play in the game. Players are asked to be at the field by 6:15 pm for check-in and to bring both their Home and Away uniforms. Players will receive a limited addition pair of shorts and t-shirt to signify their selection and playing in this game.
Fans are asked to bring their wallets. This is a fundraising event that will benefit the 2016 Boys National Team. All proceeds from the gate will go to the team to help lower player costs for their upcoming trip to the National Championships in Indiana July 22-24. Come out early (5:30pm – 6:45pm) and watch the National team hold their final practice/scrimmage before selecting their final roster positions. Our amazing host, Juan Diego Catholic, will be operating their concession area as well.
There is no better way to end the season than with amazing lacrosse and supporting a great cause.
