The Stories That Matter Most To The Utah Lacrosse Community

Alta, Pleasant Grove and Timpanogos Head to Idaho, Brighton and Bingham Head to Colorado.

Alta HawksThis weekend, Alta, Pleasant Grove and Timpanogos will head to Boise for the Boise Invitational. Teams from 5 other states will also be there: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. This is the opening year for the event and only the top teams from the 2012 season were invited, so the competition will be fierce. This will be a great opportunity for these Utah teams to see how they compare the the best teams in some of the nearby states.
For the third year in a row, Brighton heads out to Colorado to take on tough competition. They will meet up with Arapahoe, Cherry Creek Varsity 2 in a scrimmage and Regis Jesuit. These will be the first three games of the season for Brighton.
Bingham will take their first trip to Colorado since 2008. They will take on Cheyenne Mountain an Air Academy, both teams who did well last season.

  1. There are actually two Foothill High Schools in California. One in Santa Ana and one in Pleasanton. Alta is playing Foothill Pleasanton from the Bay Area who has a D-1 commit. The other one is in Orange County.

  2. My little brother plays for Foothill High, but my dearest friend Tommy coaches Alta. tough choice here
