ULN: Describe your favorite lacrosse memory.
MW: My favorite lacrosse memory would most definitely be the most recent Weber game. We won in over time and I have to say I have never loved playing a game more than I did that game. After our center shot and scored the winning goal I remember running as fast as I could and jumping almost knocking over my goalie with tears in my eyes. I have never heard my team cheer and the crowd applaud as loud as they did that game.
ULN: When/Where/Why did you first start playing lacrosse?
MW: I first started playing lacrosse last year actually. I was a junior at Timpview High School and this girl in my French class wouldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was so I got super intrigued. I remember feeling so awkward and nervous to ask this girl to join the lacrosse team, but when I did a big portion of my life changed.

ULN: What is your current stick of choice?
MW: I have the strangest stick at the moment, I have an STX head, a Nike shaft, and a DeBeer bottom. Quite weird, but my dream stick would have to be the Crux 500 form STX. A couple of my friends have it and I am extremely in love with it.
ULN: What is your favorite pre-game ritual?
MW: I don’t actually have a pre-game ritual, but I have a strange thing as to where I always have to wear gloves during practice and games. My friend gave me her gloves one day during a snowy practice and I honestly have worn gloves ever since. I guess it is this weird superstition now, it’s kind of my thing.
ULN: Besides your own home field, what is your favorite field to play lacrosse on?
MW: I truly love Lone Peaks field, it isn’t the best, but I have some of the best memories on it. It was one of our first games and I just remember feeling like I played my best as did the rest of our team. It was such a great feeling, even though we didn’t win.
ULN: How/Why did you pick your jersey number?
MW: I picked number 7, because of Harry Potter to be honest. All throughout the books it describes number 7 as the magic number. Also originally 13 was my favorite number, but my friend took that one so I just stuck with 7 and I’ve had that number for 2 years in a row.

ULN: If you could only take 3 items with you to a deserted island for the rest of your life, what items would they be and why?
MW: My phone for Netflix, a charger for my phone, and pizza pockets, because they are the heaven food.
ULN: Best Beach Spot? Hawaii, California or Mexico?
MW: Hawaii
ULN: What is your favorite fast food?
MW: In-n-out
ULN: What are your post high school plans?
MW: I first want to go to UVU and start working on my major of Video Productions then head straight out on an LDS mission.
ULN: When not playing lacrosse, what are you doing in your free time?
