Introducing the newest series of blogs on Utah Lacrosse News, “Bicker’s Soap Box”. In this series of blogs I will be featuring outstanding players, coaches, parent reps, and occasionally my own opinion piece. New blogs will be posted periodically although I will aim for two per month.
Now, for a little background about myself, I grew up in Utah and started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. A few years later I was lucky enough to play on a great team at Skyline and we went on to win a State Championship. Once I finished college I came back to high school lacrosse and began coaching. I am now Level 1 certified and the ULA Men’s League Commissioner. I consider myself a student of the game, you can learn something new every time you take the field. I have a great passion for lacrosse and trying to grow the sport in Utah. Look for upcoming blogs about the state of lacrosse in Utah including Boys High School, Men’s League and the Rocky Mountain Elite 150.
If you would like to nominate someone to feature on the blog or if you have a lacrosse related issue that you want my opinion on, please email me – drew@utahlacrossenews.com
Until next time, keep laxin!
