Brighton Adds Francis and Robinson as New Head Coaches

For Immediate Release – Brighton Girls Lacrosse
Kendra Francis - Scott RobinsonBrighton Girls LAX is excited to announce the hiring of our two new Varsity Coaches, Coach Kendra Francis and Coach Scott Robinson previously the Head Varsity Coaches of Viewmont High School Girls LAX.
Coach Kendra Francis played for Wells College in New York as a starting Attack/Midfielder as well as St. Andrews University playing both soccer and LAX where she earned the honor of being awarded the #1 Recruit Sophomore MVP.  The past two seasons she has been the Head Varsity Coach for Viewmont High School. During that time she had 4 players get named to the 1st team All-State and 2 players named to 2nd team All-State. They were undefeated division champions two years in a row and Reserve State Champions for the 2011-2012.
Coach Scott Robinson played for Weber State University Men’s LAX and played football for Tabor College in Kansas.  His coaching experience includes coaching football at Viewmont High School as well as being the Head Varsity Coach for the Viewmont Girls LAX team for the past two seasons.  He also achieved the above success as Head Coach.  Coach Robinson is a reporter for Utahlacrossenews.com and has featured many articles on girls LAX.
Brighton Girls LAX looks forward to an exciting year with our new coaching staff and appreciates the efforts of our previous staff that have been nothing but committed and supportive to our program.  We wish them well in their future coaching endeavors.

  1. I’m interested to see how these two fair in D1. Gutsy move on Brighton’s end, they have a lot of talent next year and could make a run, it will be interesting to see if these two coaches can handle this level of skill and competition.
