Brighton BengalsHead Coach Kendra Robinson and the Brighton Girls LAX board are excited to announce the hiring of our two new coaches, Coach Glee Corsetti and Coach Melissa Nash Baucom.
Coach Corsetti started playing lacrosse in New Hampshire in 6th grade and comes from a town where it was known to “breed lacrosse players”. She played through high school at Bow High School, winning 2 State Championships as captain. In college, Glee chose to attend the University of New Hampshire and opted to try out as a walk-on. After making the team and being a part of the program for 5 months, Glee broke her back and was unable to compete at the Division 1 level. After deciding to give up her role on the team, Glee started the NH Riptide women’s club lacrosse team and played as captain for all 4 years. Glee has been coaching and advising the Park City Juniors and High School team since she reached out in 2010. Today, Glee stays actively involved in the Utah Lacrosse community by playing on the Tribal West summer league and during the Park City Ski Town Shoot Out. She is excited to join BGLAX! Coach Corsetti will be taking over the Junior Varsity head coaching position.

Coach Melissa Nash Baucom (Nash) began playing lacrosse her freshman year in high school at Olympus High in Salt Lake City, Utah. She started all four years at Olympus and led the team to the playoffs each year. She was a captain both junior and senior year. During senior year Melissa was named as a US Lacrosse All-American and Academic all-American, as well as MVP of the Olympus High team. She played on several travel teams, including Team Utah and the West Coast team at the Senior Showcase in Maryland. As a freshman at BYU she was awarded the Rookie of the Year award. Her sophomore season as a Cougar she received the Coach’s award, MVP, and top-scorer honors. As a junior, Melissa was one of the BYU captains. During her seven years as a player, Melissa was a starter in every game she played in. She also worked at Face Off Lacrosse for almost two years working as a sales associate and private coach.
