College Roundup: Westminster Rebounds v. de Namur; Utah to Take on No. 7 Virginia

College Roundup: Women’s

Last weekends marquee matchup saw BYU take home an 11-6 victory over Utah State. The Aggies beat Weber State, 23-1, and UVU, 12-4. UVU followed up the loss with a 16-3 win over Weber State.

This weekend will feature several Utah teams in action.

Westminster will head to Colorado for a two-game road swing against Fort Lewis on Friday. Local standout Mia White (West Jordan) has 4 goals for the Skyhawks this season. The Griffins will then face Adams State on Sunday. Madie Ingman (Jordan) is leading the charge for the Griffins with 12 goals and 4 assists.

At the club level, Friday will see Utah take on Texas while BYU faces Virginia and Boston College. On Saturday, BYU takes on Georgia and Michigan wile Utah faces Boston College and Colorado. Sunday will see the Utes face Northeastern. All games will be in Boulder, Colorado.

In D-II, Utah State takes on Boise State and Weber State hosts Wyoming on Friday. On Saturday, Weber State faces Boise State and USU takes on Wyoming.

College Roundup: Men’s

NCAA
Westminster picked up a 27-9 win over Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday. Nick Marcy had 4 goals and 4 assists for the Griffins. Westminster is in action this weekend with two games in St. Charles, Missouri. On Friday, the Griffins will face No. 15 Lindenwood and then rebound with No. 16 Rockhurst on Sunday.

Utah faces No. 7 Virginia on Sunday at 11:00pm MT. The game will air on the ACC Network/Watch ESPN.

MCLA
Utah State headed north and fell to the College of Idaho on Thursday, 13-9, and Idaho on Saturday, 10-9. The Aggies aren’t in action again until April 18.

No. 19 UVU spent its spring break on the road and kicked things off with a 19-18 win over No. 16 Grand Canyon in overtime. The Wolverines then lost to No. 4 Arizona State on Wednesday then beat San Diego State, 14-10 on Saturday. UVU welcomes No. 23 Texas A&M on Friday.

It’s a busy week for No. 12 BYU who began this week on the road for a midweek showdown against UNLV on Wednesday. BYU beat the Rebels 19-5. The Cougars stayed in Las Vegas, facing No. 8 Cal Poly on Thursday in a tight 15-13 loss. They then come home to take on No. 23 Texas A&M on Saturday.C
