For Immediate Release – East Meets West Lacrosse
Just a week away from the beginning of the East Meets West Lacrosse Camp, Camp Director Drew Searl has added another standout player to the staff. Eric Law will join the camp for his first time to Utah.
Law is a rookie midfielder with the MLL’s Denver Outlaws who are currently undefeated and looking at being the 1st MLL team to capture the Championship with a perfect season. Law is pretty much a shoe in for the MLL Rookie of the Year award and just went back to back for MLL rookie of the week with 5 goals in each of the games. Law’s first 9 shots as an MLL player were all goals and he scored those goals in his first 2 games. So far Law has 22 goals and 7 assists on the 2013 season as a rookie. In college, Law was a 2-Time All-American at Attack for Denver University. He finished career at DU with 110 goals and 82 assists and took Denver to 2 consecutive NCAA Semi Final games. This is Law’s first time coaching at EMW, we are excited to have this Colorado native on the staff as proof that Western players can make it to the Pro level.
Head to the East Meets West website for more information and to register for the camp. The first day is next Monday, July 29 at Sunnyside Park in Salt Lake City.
