Final Four Teams Determined for Girls High School Fall Ball Playoffs

Eight teams competed in the Quarter Finals at Alta Canyon Recreation Center in Sandy on Wednesday for the Girls High School Super 7’s League. All four games were competitive while they narrowed down to the four teams that will compete in the Semi-Finals next Wednesday October 19th at 8:30 p.m.
The Quarter Final Games kicked off at 7:30 p.m. with games played on both fields. Skyline Gold played Bingham Black, and it was a close game for most of the first half. Skyline scored the first goal and led for the beginning of the game before Bingham took over, winning the game 19-9. Park City White took on Jordan’s Diggers 2, and it was a close match for most of the game but in the end Park City White won 15-12.
The second round of games started at 8:30 p.m. Alta Hawks played Skyline Blue, and the Hawks showed once again why they are the best in the state, winning 20-10.  Riverton Silverwolves played Brighton Blue in the closest game of the night. Brighton struggled to get around Riverton’s goalie Mikala Anderson, which led to the Silverwolves 11-10 victory.
The Hawks will play Silverwolves, and Park City White will take on Bingham Black at 8:30 p.m., and the other teams will have consolation games next Wednesday, October 19th..
