Wasatch Girls Lacrosse Club is an open program that is available for any young woman who wants to play lacrosse and practice year round. We are committed to all lacrosse players who want to participate and improve their skills. WGLC is intended to compliment other local lacrosse programs and is for the lacrosse enthusiast who wants to elevate her game. While many club teams use a tryout process for their programs, we do not believe this is necessary to produce excellent lacrosse players and teams. We feel that there is a place for all players at all ages and levels of play in WGLC.
The mission of the Wasatch Girls Lacrosse Club (WGLC) is to provide a structured environment in which youth and high school lacrosse players will learn to develop their lacrosse skills. Both individual and team concepts will be cultivated and fostered while honoring the game of lacrosse with good sportsmanship and the enjoyment from participation. The primary focus of the coaching staff will be on teaching lacrosse fundamentals and building a “positive sports culture” that will have a lasting impact. Our goal is to focus on you as an athlete. We want you to grow as a lacrosse player both physically and mentally, and we give you the opportunities to develop the skills, physical training, and team attitude you need to excel in high school lacrosse and beyond. We value the experience of every child with an emphasis upon fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and personal effort.
