Griffins Score Late to Defeat Wildcats

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Westminster men’s lacrosse team ended its three-game road trip with a 10-9 win over Arizona on Tuesday evening in exhibition action.
Westminster trailed Arizona 8-7 entering the final quarter and it was all level with two minutes to play. The Griffins found the winner with just over one minute to play when they scored in transition.
The win brings an end to the Griffins three-game in four days road trip that saw them play in three different states. They now return home for the final exhibition game on Thursday against Arizona State. That game begins at 4 p.m. at Dumke Field and tickets are available now at
