For Immediate Release – Herriman Lacrosse
Herriman Lacrosse is looking for a new Varsity Head Coach and Coaching staff. We are looking for a talented, positive, and energetic individual. The Candidate should embody the philosophy of our mission statement. Candidates must possess the leadership skills to direct other coaches and work with the young men that make up our high school teams. Candidate will need good communication skills and be willing to work with/through the board.
Herriman Lacrosse Mission Statement:
“The purposes of the Herriman Lacrosse Organization are to (i) promote interest and activity and develop participation in the sport of lacrosse for the youth of Herriman, Utah, educate the youth and broaden public awareness of amateur lacrosse, and encourage academic, athletic and personal achievement, sportsmanship, and leadership in the community and Herriman High School through lacrosse programs, events and tournaments”.
Our head coach Mark Roothoff has stepped down. Coach Roothoff will be missed and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Mark was a great asset to our programs development over the past 4 years. Mark has raised the bar each year taking the team further and further. This sets the bar high for the board and Mark’s replacement. It is the mission of the board to find the next great coach that can help take us to the next level.
