Who on your team do you expect to be a stand out player this coming season?
I expect Thomas Freedman to be a standout player this year. Last year he did a lot of the dirty work to help create for his teammates. This summer he’s worked a ton on his own game and it’s translated in the fall.
Who is returning to the team that fans may not know but should?
Timpview LogoThe one player other teams don’t know about that should is Liam Burton. He’s a d-middie that does it all: face-offs, man-down, d-mid. We ask him to line up against other teams’ top offensive guy and he usually shuts him down.
What is your strongest position on the field?
Our midfield is the strength of our team. Both offensively and defensively our midfield will difficult for teams to match up with.
What is the difference between this years team and last years team?
This years team’s playmakers are all upperclassmen who’ve been around the program. Last year, most of our playmakers were sophomores and a few juniors.
What single thing are you looking forward to the most this season?
Playing one of the most difficult schedules Timpview has had in a number of years.
At the end of the season, which team will be holding the Championship trophy?
Corner Canyon. Best coaches and program
What else should we know about your team?
We’ve brought in 4 new coaches this year to really focus on the fundamentals and technique. We’re expanding our program from 43 guys last year to over 60 this year.
