Kaely Kernan came to Utah from her home town of Potomac, Maryland, in order to play lacrosse for Westminster.
“I started playing lacrosse when I was 10 years old, mainly because when you grow up in Maryland, everyone plays lacrosse,” said Kernan. Kernan started coaching about two years ago before graduating from Westminster.
“I still wanted to actively participate in the game,” mentioned Kernan, “and help young girls develop their skills.”

Kernan graduated from Westminster in 2014 and has been working for an online marketing company, OrangeSoda, in American Fork. This will be Kernan’s first year at Judge.
“I understand the girls have much to learn but I am extremely excited to share with them the knowledge I have learned,” said Kernan.
Kernan is going to be focused on getting them excited about coming to practice and playing the game and is looking forward to being apart of team again and getting to know the girls.
While at Westminster, Kernan had 42 goals and 32 assists. She is the All-Time Westminster Draw Control (131) and Games Played (76) leader.
