MCLA Roundup: 5 Games On Tap This Weekend

Montana came to town last week and played tough with Utah and Westminster but were unable to beat the Utes and Griffins.
On Saturday, Utah used a 5 goal fourth quarter run to hold off the Grizzlies 11-10. Watch the video highlights here. On Sunday, Westminster defeated Montana 15-8 in their home opener.
This week, all five Utah MCLA teams are in action including the first in-state match-up of the season and first RMLC conference games.
On Friday, BYU will host New Mexico in an RMLC showdown in Provo. Utah will host a scrimmage with MCLA D-II Metro State.
On Saturday, Utah will host New Mexico which will kick off the 2012 Champions Challenge. Westminster will head to Logan to take on Utah State and UVU will host Metro State in Orem.
“Westminster plays a high level of lacrosse, we are looking forward to the game. It’s a great opportunity for us,” said Utah State Head Coach Jon Atwood.
