No. 10 Fremont Takes Down No. 8 Highland

The Fremont Silverwolves managed to pull a win at the home turf of the higher ranked Highland Rams on Friday with a score of 14-4.
The game started at a fast pace with both teams going back and forth throughout the first quarter, which ended up with the Silverwolves leading the scoreboard 2-1.  At the start of the second quarter the Silverwolves took the lead scoring 5 goals continuously, while the Rams went scoreless.

At the beginning of the third quarter the Rams seemed eager to score, but the Silverwolves ‘strong defense was able to hold them off. Highland was able to score 3 more goals and only let Fremont score 3 times.
Though the Rams efforts to catch up to the Silverwolves were great, Fremont was able to control the pace of the game by the fourth quarter.  Throughout this quarter Fremont’s speed and team work showed as they allowed Highland to score only once while they were able to put 4 more goals in the cage for a final score of 14-4.
“It was good execution” said Fremont head coach Dee Morse about his team’s performance. “If we had to choose good, better or best we were top end of good and lower end of better. Our concept is to relentlessly seek perfect execution so I want to see multiple passes before we take shots. “
The Silverwolves top scorers were Bradley Marsh with 3 goals and 2 assists, Cody Rebmann with 3 goals and Lewis C. Sheridan with 3 goals.
Fremont will face Mountain Crest on Thursday at Fremont and Murray on Friday at Murray. Highland will take on Mountain Crest on Tuesday at Highland and West on Friday at West.
