Prodigy Play of the Week: Week 9 Nominees

The final week of the Prodigy Play of the Week is here! There are some great plays to close out the season. Remember, only 5 votes per day, per play, from the same IP address will count towards the final tally. Check out the highlight and vote. Spread the word to all your friends! No. 1 – Ben Harries – Park City
Park City Attackmen Christian Pompoco pushes the left side of the field, does a roll dodge, draws the slide and finds midfielder Ben Harries in the middle of the field who jumps, catches, shoots, lands and celebrates the goal.
No. 2 – Mackay Dunn – Alta
Alta Midfielder Mackay Dunn takes it to the cage through two Juan Diego defenders and slots it top-right for the game-winning goal in the fourth overtime period.
No. 3 – Olympus Counter Attack
On a failed clear, Olympus Midfielder Zach Preobrazhensky gets the ball and looks up field, finding attackmen Coleman Dunn open right on the crease. Dunn fakes a defender then dumps it in the back of the net.
No. 4 – Kadish to Jessee – Skyline
Skyline Midfielder Ian Kadish does a behind-the-back pass to Kyle Jessee who plants his feet and takes a 13 yard top-shelf rip for the goal.
No. 5 – Ellie Carpenter – Brighton
Brighton Midfielder Kate Speare finds Ellie Carpenter cutting in the middle of the field. Carpenter corrals the ball, spins and slots it home for the goal.
No. 6 – Chris Severson – Bingham
Bingham Midfielder Jeff Hunsaker takes the ball down the field and finds attackmen Chris Severson who shoots behind-the-back for the great goal.
No. 7 – Luke Graney – Juan Diego
Juan Diego Attackmen Luke Graney shoots and hits the pipe. The Waterford defense relaxed and Graney gets the rebound and slots it home for the goal.
No. 8 – Carson Dutkanych – Park City
Park City Midfielder Christian Pompoco finds Carson Dutkanych creeping from X. Dutkanych catches the ball and finishes with a behind-the-back goal.
No. 9 – Ashton Schmidt – Brighton
Brighton Attackmen Matt Mangum finds attackmen Ashton Schmidt on the middle of the crease. Schmidt quick-sticks it in for the great goal.
No. 10 – Jordan Higgs – Weber
Weber Attackmen Jordan Higgs takes his man to GLE, then backs him towards the crease like a basketball post player. Higgs then shoots behind-the-back, finding the back of the net for the great goal.
