RMAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament Bracket Released

RMAC TournamentCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The RMAC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament bracket was released on Sunday after Colorado Mesa clinched the top seed and host rights on the final night of the regular season.
Needing to win by five or more goals in its final game, Colorado Mesa went on the road and defeated Rockhurst 15-9 to clinch hosting rights for the inaugural RMAC Men’s Lacrosse Tournament.
The Mavericks share the Regular-Season Championship with Westminster, with both schools finishing the year 7-1 in conference play.
Colorado Mesa will face the fourth seed Adams State in the opening round. The Grizzlies finished tied with Rockhurst for third in the conference standings, notching a 3-5 RMAC mark. That semifinal is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, May 6.
Westminster finished the year 8-2 overall and will face Rockhurst in the other semifinal contest. Rockhurst earned the three seed over Adams State via its higher goal differential in conference contests. That semifinal will begin at 4 p.m. Friday.
The championship contest is set for 3 p.m. Saturday.
