This week’s ULN Coaches Poll for the boys high school lacrosse teams in Utah features some shuffling of last week’s previous top-10 teams.
The Park City Miners lacrosse team held on to their No. 1 spot after beating then-ranked No. 5 Herriman 7-6 and downing then-No. 2 Corner Canyon 11-5. Park City continues to show why they are the No. 1 team in the state, as they have not lost in-state since their state semifinal loss to Juan Diego in 2017. Olympus jumped up from the third spot to the No. 2 place in the ULN Coaches Poll thanks to Corner Canyon’s loss to Park City. The Titans did not play this past week.
Brighton Lacrosse moved up one spot to No. 3 after dismantling the Logan Grizzlies 22-5 and defeating then-ranked No. 8 American Fork 16-6. It would appear that Brighton has gotten past the early-season jitters and is now rolling. They would be a tough test for anyone to face.
The Herriman Mustangs Lacrosse team has had a strong showing this season with an impressive win over Brighton on March 9 and a one-goal loss to Park City last Thursday. They retained their No. 5 spot in the ULN Coaches Poll.
The No. 6 through No. 10 spots was shuffled up with those teams each trading spots, except for the East Leopards who dropped out of the polls. Davis entered the poll at No. 8 this week.
