After an exciting week of boys high school lacrosse in the state of Utah, we have a new No. 1 in the state in the ULN Coaches Poll.
Well, technically that’s true. Olympus High School tied with Park City High School for first place, both tallying the same amount of points and receiving the same amount of first-place votes.

The reason this came about was because of Park City’s loss to Olympus on Friday night, which you can read about here.
Both teams face tough schedules for the remainder of the season, with Park City arguably getting a slight edge in that category as they face common teams with the Titans such as East, Davis and American Fork. The Miners, however, will also face currently-ranked No. 4 Lone Peak and No. 3 Brighton towards the end of the season.
Brighton came in at the No. 3 slot due to the tie at No.’s 1 and 2 and actually had more first-place votes than any other team in the poll this week. They came up one point shy of tying for first place along with Olympus and Park City.
Other movement saw Lone Peak drop one spot to the No. 4 ranking, along with Davis dropping to No. 5 and Corner Canyon to No. 6.
Copper Hills held at No. 7 in the ULN Coaches Poll, while Herriman traded spots with East for the 8th and 10th spots.
