JV – Park City 12 @ Sky View 0 (User Submitted Game Recap)
Park City moves to 2-0 on the young season and gets ready for a big early season match with Brighton JV on Wednesday. Consistent play was the theme of the day as PC scored 2 in the 1st, 4 in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd, and 3 in the 4th. The offense was led by attackman Will McNamara, and Alec Olsen. Midfielders Christian Delemos, and Levi Pompoco provided strong dodging from the top penetrating deep almost at will and finding the back of the net for several scores. Connor French was strong between the pipes getting credit for the shutout saving all 5 shots he faced. The defense in front of him deserved much of the credit for limiting the number of shots he faced. Dan Holzrichter and Nick Marsella led the D while rarely stepping off the field. Park City won well over 50% of the faceoffs today with a variety of players sharing the duties. Gator Olsen, Kyle Walterson, and Sam Addicott were all outstanding on the day.
