– Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle headed North to Judge for their annual rivalry game last night. The Judge defense played great with goalie Johnny Garlinghouse facing 17 shots and making 10 saves for the 10-7 Judge win. Aiden Larson had 3 goals and 4 assists for the Bulldogs.

Leading Scorers: Aimee Bowen (4G – Davis), Mia White, Olivia Morgan, Bella Waters (2G, 1A – West Jordan)
Goalie Stats: Laine Jensen (11S – Davis), Katelyn Larsen (3S, West Jordan), Kylee Funk (1S, West Jordan)
Naomi Hunsaker scored the first goal for Davis and the Darts added two more to jump out to a 3-0 lead.  Bella Waters scored the first goal for West Jordan and sparked a 6-1 run for the Lady Jags. West Jordan had more shots but Laine Jensen had 8 saves for the Darts to keep the lead in reach.  Davis added one more goal and West Jordan led by one at the half.
In the second half, Naomi Hunsaker again scored the first goal and tied the game at 6 apiece. Aimee Bowen scored a minute later to put the Darts ahead.  Olivia Morgan scored for the Lady Jags to tie the game and then assisted Emma Henderson a few minutes later to regain the lead.  Megan Bryson got the assist from Chantel Middleton to put West Jordan up by two. The two teams traded goals a couple times and then Davis scored with less than two minutes left to close the gap to one goal.  Davis got the following draw control and chance to tie but Cortney Middleton had a caused turnover that eventually led to Allison Brown scoring from the free position to put the game away for the Lady Jags.

– No. 5 BYU headed to Las Vegas and beat No. 8 Arizona in a close game. The Cougars won 10-9.
– No. 17 Westminster hosted No. 19 Minn-Duluth and fell in OT, 12-11. Read the recap here.
