What a weekend! There were several high school teams in action action as well as an in-state rivalry MCLA game and several WCLA games.

– The Boise Invitational saw six Utah teams head North and play great competition all weekend. Park City, Judge and Corner Canyon went 3-0, Olympus went 3-1 with the lone loss in OT, Herriman went 1-2 and Juan Diego went 0-3. Utah teams combined for a 14-6 record (0.700%). Washington: 2-1, 0.666%. Idaho: 10-9, 0.526%. Nevada: 5-5, 0.500%. Oregon: 3-8, 0.273%. Colorado: 0-2, 0.000%. Montana: 0-3, 0.000%.

Titans and Hawks Kept the game close at half. After half time Alta was unable to stop the Olympus Offense.  By the 4th Quarter Hawks did not have time to make up the deficit.

Olympus jump to a early lead, by the 4th quarter Rocky Mountain tied the game.  However, the Titans scored 5 unanswered goals.
– Boys: Box Elder beat Wasatch, 13-3, in the first ever Battle of Flying Things That Sting. Blake Chase had 4 goals and 2 assists for the Bees. Jace Griffeth led the Wasps with 3 goals, 10 ground balls and 5 caused turnovers.
– Boys: Fremont beat Mountain Crest, 15-9. Brock Carter had 7 goals and 3 assists for Fremont.
– Boys: Copper Hills outlasted Lehi, 12-11. Ethan Brown had 4 goals and Keaton Stephens had 3 goals and 1 assist for the Grizzlies.
– Boys: Logan had a doubleheader full of goals, beating Idaho Falls, 17-1, and then beating Timpanogos, 20-1.
– Boys: Desert Hills beat West, 17-2. Carter Bean had 4 goals and 4 assists in the win. Goalie Braxton Barnes had 15 saves on 17 shots for a 88.2% save percentage.
– Boys: Timpview beat Liberty (NV), 9-2. Michael Vogl had 3 goals and 1 assist for the T-birds.

MCLA

– Utah State beat UVU, 9-6. Michael Christiansen led the Aggies with 1 goal and 3 assists while Zac Payne had 3 goals. Brian Quick and Sam Young each had 2 goals for UVU. Bryce Hatfield had 19 saves for the Aggies.
WCLA
– Westminster beat BYU, 14-10. It was the Griffins first win over the Cougars. Recap | Photos
– Utah State came away with 3 wins on Saturday, 2 against UVU and one against Colorado School of Mines.
– Utah also beat Colorado School of Mines, 22-3.
