2015-Utah-CSU-07What a great weekend of lacrosse! There were a bunch of great games. Here is what happened:
High School
– Boys, JV (4/10/2015) | Park City 8, Olympus 6 (User Submitted)
Park City JV wins at home 8-6 over Olympus JV Friday afternoon. Connor French (injured thumb and all) comes up with 13 big saves in the win. Will McNamara and Christian de Lemos scored 3 goals each in the win. Rhino Smith contributed 2 assists. Matt O’Brien and Eli Levine each had 1 goal. SUBMIT YOUR STORY HERE
– Boys: Syracuse beat Herriman, 11-8. Stewart Tulane had 5 goals and 1 assist for the Titans.
– Boys: Copper Hills beat Davis, 13-7. Ethan Brown had 3 goals and 2 assists for the Grizzlies. Daniel Bell had 17 saves on 24 shots for the Grizzlies.
– Boys: On Friday, Riverton beat West Jordan, 14-4 with Iszach DeWeese leading the way (3G, 4A) but then lost to East on Saturday, 7-6. Read the East v. Riverton recap here.
– Boys: Desert Hills traveled north for the weekend and beat Woods Cross, 8-5 on Friday but lost to Spanish Fork, 17-2 on Saturday.
– Boys: Palo Verde (NV) and Coronado (NV) played Juan Diego and Park City on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Palo Verde beat Juan Diego, 14-11 (Gallery) and Park City lost its first game of the year in a 9-8 battle with Coronado. On Sunday, Park City beat Palo Verde 18-8. Coronado (NV) beat the Soaring Eagle, 11-10.
– Girls: Cache Valley beat Olympus, 11-10 in OT. Kylee McKee led Cache Valley with 3 goals and 1 assist. Kaylee Hunsaker won 16 of 21 draws for Cache Valley.

– Friday: Colorado State beat Utah, 17-5. Gallery

– Sunday: Westminster beat Colorado State, 14-11. Recap
– Sunday: Colorado beat Utah, 16-4.
– On Saturday, Utah State and Weber State had a scrimmage. Gallery
WCLA
– Westminster beat Adams State, 18-6. Recap
– Utah State hosted the Lo-Town Throwdown. I haven’t seen any scores posted from this, but hopefully the teams had fun and played hard!
