The playoff picture is becoming clearer with just a few days left in the regular season. Be sure to check out the playoff pages with updated standings.
– Boys, JV | Park City 18, Syracuse 1 (User Submitted)
The Park City JV team hosted Syracuse JV Wednesday evening and ran away with a 18-1 victory. The Park City team has saved their best lacrosse for the end of the season as they moved their record to 10-2-1 with 1 final game to play. 11 different players recorded points on the day as the team played unselfish lacrosse registering 13 assists on 18 goals: Alec Olsen (3g 2a), Kyle Walterson (2g 3a), Levi Pompoco (5a), Matt O’Brien (1g 3a), Will McNamara (3g), Sam Addicott (2g), Jonah Hall (2g), Parker Burnham (2g), Gator Olsen (1g), Jack Root (1g), and Griffen Seifert (1g). Jack Root started the day for PC between the pipes and registered 3 saves on 3 shots. Billy Honey made 4 saves on 5 shots. Several Freshman/Sophomore players were brought up for the game for their first real JV experience and played extremely well. Ashton Todd, Nate Hopgood, Avery Isreal, and Terren Nichols stood out on the field showing what they worked so hard for all season.
– Boys: Logan beat Mountain Crest, 13-8. Brandon Dodd had 5 goals and 2 assists to lead the Grizzlies. Mountain Crest was led by Cade Cooper who had 2 goals and 1 assist.
– Girls: Roy beat Weber, 12-0. Madison Geilmann led the Royals with 5 goals and 1 assist.
– Girls: Copper Hills beat Lehi, 10-8. Hannah Corbett, Brenlee Fordham and Madalyn Huber all had 3 goals for the Grizzlies. Lehi was led by Shea Munger who had 5 goals.

– The RMLC Playoffs begin this weekend. On Friday at 10:00am, Utah State will face Northern Colorado. The winner will play the winner of the Fort Lewis v. Montana State game on Saturday for the D-II Championship. At 7:00pm on Friday, Westminster will take on BYU with the winner facing Colorado/Colorado State on Saturday for the D-I Championship. The Ute Women’s lacrosse team learned their opponents recently for the WCLA D-II National Championship starting next week.
Thursday, May 7
10:00 am – No. 2 Utah v. No. 7 St. Benedict
1:30pm – No. 2 Utah v. No. 11 Vermont
The D-II Tournament begins with pool play so the Utes will need to win both games in order to advance.
– The Denver Outlaws take on the Charlotte Hounds on Sunday at 3:00pm. Tim Haslam and Steve Nelson will be at the game live tweeting and showing what an Outlaws game-day experience is all about.
