Insert joke about Utah weather… Besides that, there is a variety of things happening for lacrosse in the State of Utah. Three games yesterday, 18 games today, and another high school athlete signed with top lacrosse school in the RMAC.
The Week 4 ULA Coaches Poll has been released, with Lone Peak holding the top spot.  However it’s a tight race with Park City, who received only 1 less point than Lone Peak. This is the first time since May of 2013 that the Miners haven’t occupied the top spot.  For the full list of standings, click here.

The Jordan Beetdiggers topped the Viewmont Vikings 11-8.  The Beetdiggers offensive threat was lead by Katie Bangerter and Eliza Harmer, who each had 4 goals each.  Jordan improved to 2-1 on the season.  Viewmont is now 1-1.  RECAP | PHOTOS
Brighton still holds a commanding lead in the UHSLL Boys Coaches Poll.  Juan Diego is in the 2nd spot, and there is currently a tie for 3rd between Park City and Corner Canyon.  For the full list of standings, click here.
Riverton Senior Ian Elson recently committed to Adams State University in Colorado.  Elson has grown up in the sport and has put a great amount of work and effort into becoming the player he is today.  Utah Lacrosse News had the chance to ask Elson a few questions regarding his recent commitment to Adams State.  Click here for the full interview.
Wasatch LC is holding a FREE evaluation day for all perspective players who had wanted to join the team. This is a great opportunity to get quality one-on-one feedback on techniques and how they can improve their game. This past weekend was filled with high caliber teams and multiple overtime wins.
Notre Dame topped Virginia in Overtime to win, 8-7.
Johns Hopkins beat Syracuse in an Overtime battle, 11-10.
