What a Game! Defending State Champs, Park City took on an aggressive up and coming American Fork lacrosse team lead by Head Coach Ray Langhaim this past Friday the 25th day of March. This contest was an ultimate cat and mouse game lead by two very stingy defenses. Lauren Van Woerkom of AF Saved 7 goals while PC Courtney Kaufman saved 4 ‘point-blank’ shots! At the end of the first half, Park City had a commanding 2-5 lead. Brianna Baumann led all scorers by notching 5 of Park City’s 7 goals. Sophomore Savannah Ernst of AF ended the game with 3 goals and 2 assist. 2 of her 3 goals came late in the game as AF fought hard to catch up and overcome PC by hitting the last 2 Free Position Shots of the game.
