No. 1 Brighton took on No. 1 Juan Diego in the highlight match of the weekend. Brighton walked away with the Win, 15-10. Juan Diego was lead by Chatz Hower, who score 5 of the 10 goals. the JD defense contained Preseason All-American Bubba Fairman, so Tennison Schmidt stepped up with 4 goals. No. 3 ranked Corner Canyon faced off against No. 4 Park City Saturday, Corner Canyon emerging as victors, 13-7. With the performance of the Chargers defense and the Miners missing their two leading scorers, the Chargers proved to be too much for the Miners. RECAP
Riverton welcomed Hillcrest (ID) in a cross-state friendly match, with Riverton coming out with the victory, 16-5. It is Hillcrest’s first season with a varsity level team, which is a testament to the continued growth of the sport. RECAP
