No Tricks, No Antics, Just straight up Beast Mode! American Fork Lady Cavemen take on and defeat local rival team, the Lone Peak Knights. This much anticipated game lived up to the hype and provided both fans w/ an, “on the edge of your seat” fun and exciting competition from start to finish. Although LP had to play without two of their major contributors, Missy Bitters (broken ankle) and London Mohowski (sprained ankle), local legend Skye Rust rose to the challenge and notched 5 of LP’s 8 goals while adding 2 assist! However, LP’s aggressive attack was countered by AF’s stingy defense, led by Lauren Van Woerkom who saved 8 of 15 shots on goal! Even though she was closely watched and fiercely guarded, AF star, Savannah Ernst did her part by putting up 4 goals and 2 assist with her jaw dropping drives, powerful shots and great stick handling skills. Freshman Portia Card left her mark by hitting 2 Free Position Shots and adding an assist of her own while JV turned Varsity player, Sydni Greening notched 2 goals in the game. Mallorie Van Woerkom and Katey Busche rounded out AF’s attack by adding 1 point each. Final Score: AF – 10, LP – 8

  1. Dan has done an amazing job with that team. More important is that he has helped build this lacrosse community. Dan served the lacrosse community and the players that played for and against him well. Good luck Dan.
