Under The Helmet: Olympus Attackmen Madsen Murphy

Tribal West LacrosseIn the first installment of the Under The Helmet series, presented by Tribal West Lacrosse, we sat down with Olympus Senior Attackmen Madsen Murphy to talk about life, lax and pursuit of happiness. Murphy is currently leading the Titans in scoring with 20 goals in 5 games. Madsen has many favorite lacrosse memories but this season is special because his little brother, Sophomore Attackmen Walker Murphy is the team and the two are playing together again for the first time since Madsen was in 6th grade.
Madsen Murphy“We both play attack and when we’re working together on offense, we have a blast. These are the times I’ll always remember,” said Madsen.
Madsen has been playing for as long as he can remember. His dad, Klane, played for BYU in the 80’s and bought Madsen a stick when he was 3 years old.
“We spent a lot of time playing catch as I was growing up. I joined the youth league in California the first year it was offered, when I was in 6th grade. I loved it and have played every since,” said Madsen.
