Under The Helmet: Pleasant Grove Midfielder Jaden Bishop

In the latest edition of Under The Helmet, we interviewed Pleasant Grove Midfielder Jaden Bishop.
ULN: What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
JB: My favorite lacrosse memory was when we were loosing to Olympus by like five and my coach brought us all in at half time and told us we could do anything, all we had to do was apply ourselves and we ended up winning by one.
ULN: When/Where/Why did you first start playing lacrosse?
JB: I started in fifth grade because my friends were playing and it looked like a total party. I played for Pleasant Grove rec my first year.
ULN: What is your current stick of choice?
JB: STX vanadium with the Brine Houdini
ULN: What is your favorite pregame ritual?
JB: I eat a ton of honey and peanut butter and watch kid movies to help me get rid of the pregame stress.
ULN: Besides your own home field, what is your favorite field to play lacrosse on?
JB: I really enjoy playing at Alta’s home field, it has really nice turf and the time is up on the scoreboard.
ULN: How/Why did you pick your jersey number?
JB: It was my freshman year and I kinda got shafted to it and I just stayed with that number.
ULN: Who is on your iPod these days?
JB: Big Sean
ULN: What Hollywood star would play you in a movie about your life?
JB: Jack Nicholson
ULN: If you could only take 3 items with you to a deserted island for the rest of your life, what items would they be and why?
JB: A water purifier, a hunting knife, and a fishing pole. Those all seem like reasonable items.
ULN: Best Beach Spot? Hawaii, California or Mexico?
JB: Hawaii
ULN: What are your post high school plans?
JB: Go on my LDS mission, go play for UVU Lacrosse.
ULN: Cats or Dogs?
JB: Cats
ULN: Favorite pizza place?
JB: Pie Pizzaria
ULN: What is the first thing you would do if you win the Championship this year? Who would be the first person you would call or text?
JB: I would call my great grandfather and thank him for starting a generation of champs.
