Utah – The New Talent Pool for East Coast Lacrosse — Brings 20 to All-America Lacrosse Weekend at Towson University

Under Armour All-AmericanBaltimore, MD (July 1, 2016) ─ Under Armour, in conjunction with Corrigan Sports Enterprises and Inside Lacrosse, is hosting the All-America Lacrosse Weekend at Towson University. Events include:
· The Uncommitted Showcase features select players from the regional tryouts who are uncommitted to college and make up teams from each of the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 graduation classes. These players will showcase themselves in front of scores of coaches at Burdick Field at Towson University.
· The Underclass Tournament brings together teams from 11 regions in Command 2019 & 2020 and Highlight 2017 & 2018 divisions for both boys and girls to compete in a pool play tournament for the Under Armour Underclass Championship title.
· The All-America Senior Game features 44 boys and girls, each selected to face-off against each other in a North vs. South showdown on Saturday, July 2nd. Girls game at 5:30pm, Boys game at 8pm in Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University.
This is the undisputed collection of North America’s lacrosse elite. One thing you might not expect at an East Coast lacrosse tournament – Utah, representing strong athletes despite the fact that it only fielded three boy’s teams in the entire state 25 years ago. Now Utah has a pool of talent that will impact college lacrosse in the years to come.

Utah also is making an impact with coaching. Park City Head Coach Nick Gradinger coached the West team in the Highlight Division. Coach Kassandra Lemons from Park City High School and Coach Maggie Herrneckar from Brighton High School are coaching the West Girls Highlight team. These coaches have extensive experience coaching high school, national teams, and club teams.
