Local Utahns
BYU Cougars
Whitney Sieverts (Jordan) is leading the Cougars with 26 goals and 11 assists. Rachel Gilmore (Lone Peak) is third in goals with 15. Megan McCleary (Riverton) is holding down the defense in cage with a 55.30 save percentage.
Westminster Griffins
Kira Heiden (Bingham) is having a stellar season with 26 goals and 4 assists. She also has 24 draw controls. Katie Adams (Olympus) has 21 goals and 6 assists. Goalie Taylor Hekking (Brighton) has 44 saves in 7 games.

Fort Lewis Skyhawks
Two Utahns are leading the Skyhawks, Ellie Carpenter (Brighton) and Jam Vertner (Brighton) have 22 and 12 goals respectively. Both have 3 assists. Carpenter also has 16 draw controls.

Army Black Knights
Amy Johnston (Brighton) has 22 goals and 13 assists in 12 games to lead the team. She also has 47 draw controls and earned the Patriot League Attacker of the Week (2/29/2016).
Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals
Markie Wright (Juan Diego) has 12 goals and 4 assists, 12 caused turnovers and 22 draw controls.
Minnesota Golden Gophers
Mara Gronseth (Juan Diego) has 15 goals and 7 assists in 12 games played. She also has 8 draw controls.

Rachel Miller (Orem) has 53 saves for the Knights. Faythe Park (Olympus) has 2 goals and 1 assist. Lia Smith (Lehi) has 1 goal and 7 caused turnovers.

Malia Stephens (Alta) is leading the Blue Devils in hopes of another WCLA Championship.

Nikki Holbrook (Copper Hills) has a 44.90 save percentage on 31 saves in 5 games played.
Rhodes College Lynx
Liz Lewis (Judge) has 14 caused turnovers and 7 groundballs in 12 games for the Lynx.

  1. Every year the list grows both in numbers and stature. My complements to the Coaches. Utah is producing some great talent.

  2. Congratz to all these awesome girl! I’d like to see some University of Utah girls represented on here, we won Regionals last year and made it all the way to the WCLA Division 2 Championship Game! Not to mention Sasha McKee got All American and broke the record for the most saves in the national tournament. Also UVU and Utah State has great players as well!

  3. You forgot about Janzen Vertner and Ellie Carpenter (Brighton) playing for Fort Lewis College 2012-2016, where they had stellar seasons. You should go look at their bios, and lengthy list of awards, including Ellie Carpenter was chosen in 2016 as a NCAA Div 2 All Star.
