Utes Fall Clinics Announced

logoRegistration is now open for the Utah Men’s Lacrosse fall clinics. Each clinic will be led by Head Coach Brian Holman and assistant coaches Will Manny, Marcus Holman and Adam Ghitelman.
“These clinics are designed to help lacrosse player’s of all levels and they are a great way for us to give back and get to know our Utah Lacrosse community better,” said Holman. “We as a a staff are committed to serving our lacrosse community at the highest level.”
The Utes Fall Clinic & Prospect Day will be held on September 24 and October 15. Boys in grades 9-12 are encouraged to attend. Both clinics will feature positional instruction and 2 games played in an afternoon session. Players from all over the country will be present which will give clinic goers an opportunity to play against top level competition.

Boys in grades 5-8 are encouraged to attend the Utes Fall Clinic on October 1. The clinic will feature positional instruction and short field games.

About The Staff
Brian Holman – Head Coach
Holman has spent the last 8 years as an assistant coach at North Carolina with varying responsibilities. Fresh off the heels of a National Championship, his most noted position was that of goalkeeper coach but also ran the substitution box and helped coordinate the offense with main offensive coordinator David Metzbower. Holman played collegiately as a goalie at Johns Hopkins in the early 80s where he won the National Championship as a Freshman in 1980 and helped the Blue Jays finish second in the following three seasons.
Adam Ghitelman – Assistant Coach
Ghitelman is currently the starting goalie and team captain for the Atlanta Blaze. A University of Virginia graduate, Ghitelman was a 4-year letterman, captain, 2X All-American and 2011 National Champion. Ghitelman most recently coached at USC where he was the Head Coach. Before moving to Southern California, Ghitelman was the Co-Defensive Coordinator, Goaltender Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator at Harvard University. Ghitelman helped lead the team to a regular season Ivy League Championship in 2015 and mentored multiple All-Americans.
Marcus Holman – Assistant Coach
Holman joined the MLL after graduating from North Carolina in 2013 and is currently playing for the Ohio Machine. Holman notched 42 goals in the 2016 MLL season, tying him for second in the league. Holman also plays for the United States indoor and outdoor teams and was a Tewaaraton finalist in 2013.
Will Manny – Assistant Coach
Manny is an attackman for the Boston Cannons and is a UMass graduate. Manny was in the top 2 for goals, assists and points in the 2014 and 2015 seasons for the Cannons and also played for the United States outdoor team. Both Manny and Marcus led their respective teams in points in the 2016 MLL All-Star game. Manny was a Tewaaraton finalist in 2012.
