Wasatch Lacrosse Club is holding a second evaluation day in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, May 24th from 5-7pm, for all prospective players who are interested in trying to join our team. Players who can attend are players who are currently in 8th-12th grade (graduating seniors are eligible to attend the U19 Vail Shootout). Cost is FREE!
We have limited spots open for each tournament, and we are looking for players who want to represent the state of Utah on a national level and compete in the most prestigious tournaments that any club from Utah attends.
From 2012 – present our record is 37-19-1, which includes victories over teams from New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Minnesota, Florida, California, Indiana, Colorado, Nevada, Wisconsin, Texas, Kentucky, and Nebraska. In 2015, Wasatch LC competed in three tournaments, played 18 games, and faced teams from 14 different states.
We are taking our team to the U19 Vail Shootout (June 26-29) in Vail, Colorado, and the Tri-State National Lacrosse Festival (July 9-10), in Princeton, New Jersey. The Tri-State trip is a week long, from July 5-12. During the trip our team will be touring 8-9 Division I, II, & III colleges in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, staying in college dorms, playing in 3 scrimmages against top club teams from Pennsylvania, and participating in the Tri-State tournament.
***This is an evaluation, not a tryout. Players may be chosen after the evaluation to join our team, while others may be put on a list to be contacted for future tournaments.
DATE: Tuesday, May 24th
LOCATION: Ben Franklin Park (3450 S 850 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106)
