SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women’s lacrosse team will return to action on Friday when they travel to Alamosa, Colo. to play Adams State at 3 p.m. (MT). The game will be played at the Adams State Lacrosse Field.

Westminster enters the game at 7-2 on the season and riding a six-game winning streak. They are coming off a pair of 16-2 home wins against Utah State and Colorado State on Saturday. The Griffins are 1-1 in road games on the year and 4-2 overall in games away from home.
Maggie HerrNeckar leads the Griffins with 25 goals and 33 points on the season. Katie Adams has scored 22 goals with 31 points and Maddie Haynes has 20 goals. Morgan Bakarich and Kira Heiden have tallied nine and eight assists respectively.
Makenzie Hekking has played every minute in goal this season with a 7.02 goals-against-average. She has made 53 saves and notched a .461 save percentage.
Adams State is 0-9 on the year and coming off a pair of road losses last weekend. The Grizzlies average 5.56 goals per game while allowing the opposition to score 16.44 goals per contest. Kendra Cheda has scored a team-high 18 goals and Jessica Hammer and Qiana Barfield have nine goals each. Danica Kristiansen has made 66 saves with a .328 save percentage.
