For Immediate Release – Westminster Lacrosse
SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College women’s lacrosse team will host the 2012 Rocky Mountain Women’s Lacrosse League Tournament at Dumke Field on Saturday, April 21. This is the second straight year that Westminster will host the postseason tournament.
This year’s tournament will feature five games in total and starts at 8 a.m. with the Division 1 semi-final game between the No. 2 seed Colorado and the No. 3 seed Brigham Young. The first Division 2 semi-final is at 10 a.m. with No. 1 Westminster facing No. 4 Utah Valley. The other semi-final is slated for noon and feature No. 2 Utah against No. 3 Wyoming.
The championship games begin at 2 p.m. with the D1 title match between No. 1 Colorado State and the semi-final winner. The D2 championship will begin at 4 p.m. between the two semi-final winners.
Tickets for the event will be on sale at the gate on Saturday. They will cost $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and Westminster alumni. Students and children tickets are $3 and all current Westminster students, faculty and staff receive free admission with their current school ID.
